Delightful Fun and Anticipation
I purchased both calendars, two from Amazon and two from you. They are the perfect gifts for children (and adults) with creative minds. I noticed the children were more apt to follow your directions, but the adults not so much. The reindeer was the toughest. The question came up, “After Christmas can we just take them apart and create ourselves?” The creativity of children is something to behold and Plus-Plus sparks the imagination of young and old alike. Thank you.
Fun calendar
A great advent calendar that keeps all kids busy! The process of picking the correct version was confusing as the website does not show which calendar represents which scene (Which one is Woodland Creatures and which one is Santa's visit?). Happy with the purchase overall!
Building Fun for a Whole Month
Our polar friends (reindeer and puppy alternatives to an elf) brought the woodland advent calendar for my two kids, 7 and 11, along with a letter asking them to share. We cleared an end table to create the scene with the box pieces and they are each taking turns and making the scene come alive a little more each day:o) Instructions are easy for both kids at these ages and then when it's done, the pieces can go into the Plus Plus pile!
Fun/Interactive Advent Calendar!
My 4-year old loved receiving this advent calendar during the holiday season. Each day he anxiously awaited opening up and building the next creative piece. My favorite part is after everything was opened he was able to change things around and create his own structures with the pieces. These also connect without issue to another brand of similar blocks so the possibilities are as endless ad your creativity!
Love Plus Plus, but some don't stay together
I love this alternative to Legos. My son just started building and being able to follow instructions for small lego pieces, he's 4 years old. We were super excited to try out this advent calendar. My son had a hard time waiting for the next days set. Some of the characters made sense, some a little odd. He was confused why we were building a table and chairs for a Christmas theme. And the final one, number 25 we expected to be Christmas themed as well, but it's just a random spinner and some odd side pieces which i'm not sure what they're supposed to be. And once we put them together, some pieces like arms don't stay in place. Hard for a toddler who wants to “play” with the figures, though I suppose they're meant to be more decorative once built. After trying out these small Plus Plus, we moved on and purchased the Big Plus Plus, much easier for my son to manipulate.
